The Iranian regime's judiciary in the western city of Sanandaj has executed a juvenile offender in the city's prison.
The prisoner, Saif Panahi, was arrested eight years ago at the age of 16 for alleged role in the murder of a man during an argue, Kurdistan Press Agency reported.
The execution of the young man for a crime he allegedly committed while apparently still a juvenile shows a deplorable disregard for international law by the Iranian regime during the presidency of Hassan Rouhani.
Since the sham presidential election in June in Iran, more than 300 prisoners have been executed including at least 20 political prisoners.
Meanwhile on the same day, a large number of residents of the city of Marivan, in western Iran, rallied in the city to protest the execution three Kurdish political prisoners.
The Iranian regime has hanged at least three Kurdish political prisoners during the past two week. Habibollah Golparipour, Raza Ismaeili, Shirko Moarefi were hanged in prisons in cities of Urumieh, Salams and Saqqez.
